Day 3: The Marriage Vow to the Body
Reading: Psalm 8; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27

Devotional: We've reduced "it is not good that man should be alone" to a wedding ceremony, but God was establishing something more foundational—the body of Christ. Before spousal marriage, there was corporate marriage. The church suffers from the same divorce rate as the world because we've lost the understanding of covenant commitment to the body. We date the church rather than marry it. We show up 1.4 Sundays per month and wonder why our lives lack authority and fruitfulness. The blessing isn't on isolated individuals but on the connected body. You cannot walk in dominion while merely attending church; you must be married to it—contributing, not just consuming. This isn't about religious obligation but about divine order. When we're faithfully connected to the body, functioning in our role, we access the corporate blessing that releases multiplication. Evaluate your commitment: Are you dating or married to God's family?
