Day 5: Breaking the Current of Currency
Reading: Acts 2:42-47; Revelation 13:16-17

Devotional: The early church lived with simplicity of heart, sharing all things in common, and the Lord added to their number daily. Contrast this with the rich young ruler who went away sorrowful because many possessions had him. We live in the governance of an anti-Christ culture right now—one that demands we receive its mark to buy and sell the things we think we need. The pace has intensified dramatically; we can have anything instantly, creating a rhythm of immediate gratification that opposes the kingdom. God is calling His church to break the back of this rhythm. It starts with simple obedience: when you feel you can't slow down, stop and pray. Cancel the accounts that have you. Throw away the credit cards funding desires your provision was never meant to seed. This isn't about legalism—it's about breaking free from a current that's drowning you. The church will be recognized by those who stand against this rhythm.
