Day 1: Sitting at His Feet
Reading: Luke 10:38-42

Devotional: Martha's service wasn't sinful—it was simply misaligned. She was distracted by good things while missing the best thing: Jesus' presence. Like Martha, we often fill our lives with legitimate activities, even ministry work, while neglecting intimacy with God. The church has become performance-driven, bringing the world's rhythms into sacred spaces instead of carrying heaven's power outward. Jesus gently corrects: "One thing is needed." Mary chose rightly—she sat at His feet. Today, examine what has your primary attention. Are you serving from overflow or exhaustion? God is calling you back to the place where everything begins: worshipful presence at His feet, where true power and direction flow.
