Day 3: Stop—The Red Light Principle
Reading: Exodus 14:13-14; Psalm 46:10
Devotional: "Be still and know that I am God." The most revolutionary act in our culture may be simply stopping when God whispers, "Stop." We treat yellow lights as invitations to accelerate, revealing our spiritual condition. When you feel overwhelmed, when deadlines press, when anxiety rises—that faint prompt to stop and pray is God inviting you to dam the current of currency. It will fight you. You'll feel everything collapsing. But in that five-minute pause, you're declaring that His voice matters more than the world's demands. You're not responding to culture; culture is responding to you. Moses told panicked Israel at the Red Sea: "Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord." Today, when will you practice stopping? What intersection will you refuse to rush through?
