Day 5: Rest as Warfare
Reading: Hebrews 4:1-11; John 10:10

Devotional: The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus offers abundant life. That abundance flows from Sabbath rest—a place where the enemy cannot reach what God protects. When we refuse to rest, we open doors to the thief. Our exhaustion, anxiety, and drivenness create entry points for destruction. But when we obey God's rhythm, He drives out our enemies and enlarges our borders while we feast with Him. Sabbath isn't passive; it's active resistance against the cultural Pharaoh spirit that demands we produce our worth. True deliverance must be discipled through rhythms that keep us free. Rest isn't earned—it's the starting point. We don't work toward rest; we work from it. Today, identify one area where anxiety drives your pace. Resist it by choosing rest. Let God fight while you trust. The healing waters of breakthrough are locked in the Sabbath of your life.
