Day 5: Burning for Him with Abandon

Devotional: "One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord." David understood focused devotion—one thing, not many things. Jesus calls us to the same radical commitment: deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Him. This isn't about losing your identity but finding your true life. When you lay your personality, dreams, and plans at the altar, God will do more with the ashes than you could ever accomplish in your own strength. The time to burn for God is now—not someday when you're more qualified or less busy. Use every moment you have left to pursue His presence, lift His name, and live abandoned to His purposes.
