Day 1: Breaking Free from the Rhythm of Busyness
Reading: Matthew 11:28-30

Devotional: Jesus invites those who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. But this isn't merely physical rest—it's a complete shift in rhythm. We've become skilled at functioning in man's wisdom, responding to every notification, invitation, and demand. The enemy doesn't attack with violence we can see; he attacks with pleasant invitations that pull us from God's pace. Today, examine your calendar and commitments. What have you said "yes" to that keeps you from hearing God's voice? True rest comes not from sleeping more, but from living in alignment with God's gentle rhythm. Take inventory: are you toiling under a curse of your own permission, or are you learning to till—to manage by speaking God's word over your circumstances?
