Day 3: Tents and Altars Over Cities and Progress
Reading: 2 Samuel 7:1-7

Devotional: David wanted to build God a house, but God said, "I've moved in tents and tabernacles." There's something profound here: God values presence over progress, relationship over residences. Abram chose tents and altars while Lot chose cities and comfort. We exhaust ourselves building kingdoms, accumulating possessions, chasing promotions—yet God desires our hearts in simple surrender. How much of your life is stored in places your heart cannot hold? Simplification isn't poverty; it's prioritization. It's recognizing that God's presence in a tent is greater than prosperity in a city without Him. This week, what do you need to simplify so you can amplify your intimacy with God? Remember: Abram built altars everywhere he went. Make worship your lifestyle, not just your Sunday ritual.
