Day 5: The Rhythm of Sabbath Living
Reading: Psalm 27:4-8

Devotional: David wrote, "One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord." Abram lived this psalm before David sang it. He chose God's beauty over the land's beauty, God's presence over territorial progress. Sabbath isn't just a day; it's a soul posture. It's living from rest rather than for rest. It's trusting that God's rhythm produces more than our hustle. This week, establish a daily altar. Begin each morning in stillness before God, asking Him to order your steps. Don't consult the land; consult the Lord. Let your pace match His presence. When you live in Sabbath rhythm, you walk with assurance rather than anxiety. You're no longer driven by what you see but directed by the One who sees all.
