Day 4: Walking in the Spirit
Reading: Galatians 5:16-26

Devotional: The code of ethics for kingdom citizens is clear: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are not suggestions—they are the fruit that must be evident in your life. Yet Paul warns against using freedom as an opportunity for the flesh. Salvation is not permission to live however you want; it's empowerment to live as God designed. Walking in the Spirit means your daily choices are surrendered to His leading, not your impulses. Look at the works of the flesh: jealousy, selfish ambition, outbursts of anger, dissension. These aren't just "big sins"—they're everyday attitudes that disqualify us from inheriting the kingdom. Inheritance isn't about salvation; it's about partaking in God's rule now. Are you proficient in the fruit of the Spirit? This is preparation, not perfection. Allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify you—to make you who you're called to be.
