Day 4: The Profit of Your Labor
Reading: Ecclesiastes 3:1-13
Devotional: Solomon, the wisest and wealthiest king in history, looked back on his life and asked a piercing question: "What profit has the worker from that in which he labors?" He discovered that all his wealth, power, and pleasure meant nothing because his labor wasn't aligned with God's will. The sons of God are occupied in God-given tasks, and only they receive the inheritance from His will. If you're exhausted, stressed, and unfulfilled despite your hard work, examine whether you're laboring in the wrong field. Are you building your kingdom or His? Are your pursuits shaped by impatience and selfish desire, or by the eternal purpose God placed in your heart? God wants you to enjoy the fruit of your labor, but that only happens when your labor flows from His vision. Repent of misplaced effort and realign with His assignment for you.
