Day 5: From Birth to Baptism—The Upper Room Journey
Reading: Acts 2:1-4; Luke 24:49-53
Devotional: Jesus sought entrance to an upper room at His birth and was rejected. Yet after His resurrection, He returned to upper rooms to establish His kingdom. In an upper room, He breathed the Holy Spirit into His disciples. In an upper room, they waited for the baptism of power. The same spaces that had no room for His birth became the launching pads for His kingdom. This is our invitation—to become upper room people in a Laodicean age. To create vacancy amid the noise. To expect His coming with anticipation. To extend hospitality to heaven's purposes. As we enter this new year, God is knocking. He wants to birth something new through your life. Will there be room in your inn?
