Day 3: The Culture of Love
Reading: 1 Corinthians 13; 1 John 4:7-21
Devotional: Every kingdom has a culture—shared values, lifestyles, and behaviors. The culture of God's kingdom is faith, hope, and love, with love being the greatest. Love is not just an attribute; it's the atmosphere, the amniotic fluid in which all kingdom life develops. Love is both the culture and the law. It drove God to create, to redeem, and to send His Son. The critical question is: Does love drive everything you do? Not emotions, not preferences, but genuine kingdom love—the kind that submits personal desires to God's will and serves others sacrificially. When you lose your first love for God, you lose alignment with the kingdom, and everything else becomes religious performance. This week, audit your decisions: Are they motivated by love for God and others, or by self-interest? Return to your first love. Let love govern you.
