Day 5: Tending the Garden First
Reading: Genesis 3:1-13; Colossians 3:1-4

Devotional: Adam and Eve's fall wasn't primarily about eating fruit; it was about failing to tend and keep the presence of God. When they disconnected from their Source, everything connected to them died. The enemy's strategy hasn't changed: separate people from God's presence and from each other, and death enters. Conversely, resurrection life comes through reconnection—spirit reuniting with body. Jesus didn't just ascend to heaven; He reconnected spirit to body, and the kingdom flourished. Your fruitfulness in every area—business, family, ministry, influence—is impossible without being deeply connected to two things: God's presence and His people. Before you manage the harvest, tend the garden. Before you pursue dominion, pursue His presence. The world goes as the church goes, and the church goes as you go. Creation is subjected in futility, waiting for you to show up with glory revealed. That glory only comes through consistent, daily tending of the garden—prioritizing connection with God above everything else.
