Day 1: The Upper Room of Expectation

Devotional: Mary and Joseph searched for room in the inn, but found no vacancy due to busyness. The Greek word "kataluma" means both "inn" and "upper room"—a place of hospitality, honor, and expectation for esteemed guests. Today, Jesus still knocks at the door of our upper room, seeking entrance to birth His kingdom purposes through us. Yet our lives are often too crowded—filled with tasks, distractions, and countless commitments. This Advent season, consider: Is there room in your inn? Are you preparing an upper room of expectation for what God wants to birth in your life? The King who was turned away at His birth still seeks a prepared place in your heart.
