Day 1: Reading the Heavens
Reading: Matthew 2:1-2; Daniel 2:20-22

Devotional: The wise men didn't stumble upon Jesus by accident—they were watching, waiting, and reading the signs. They possessed spiritual sensitivity that allowed them to recognize what heaven was doing before it fully manifested on earth. Like the sons of Issachar who understood the times and seasons, these Magi prepared for what they sensed was coming. Today, God asks: Are you spiritually numb or spiritually alert? Have your religious routines become so habitual that you've lost your sense of awe? The kingdom of God is advancing, but it requires those who will look beyond earthly circumstances to discern heavenly activity. Don't let the noise of this world drown out the whispers of heaven. Cultivate spiritual sensitivity through prayer, meditation on God's Word, and intentional listening to the Holy Spirit.
