Living by Faith

Reading: Habakkuk 2:4, Hebrews 10:35-39

The profound statement "the righteous person will live by his faithfulness" (Habakkuk 2:4) is quoted multiple times in the New Testament. It encapsulates a fundamental truth of the Christian life: we are called to live by faith, not by sight or circumstances.
Living by faith means trusting God's character and promises even when our current reality seems to contradict them. It's choosing to believe that God is good and in control, even in the midst of chaos or suffering. The author of Hebrews encourages us not to "throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded" (Hebrews 10:35).

Reflect today on what living by faith looks like in your current situation. What would change if you fully trusted God's promises? Ask for the Holy Spirit's help to strengthen your faith and live it out practically.
