Uncommon Surrender for Uncommon Moves
Reading: Isaiah 9:6-7; Romans 12:1-2

Mary's question—"How can this be since I do not know a man?"—revealed the very reason she was chosen. God births His uncommon purposes through those who don't operate by common, worldly ways. You cannot expect an extraordinary move of God through ordinary patterns of living. The government God wants to establish through you requires uncommon surrender—not just of your actions, but of your thinking, your self-governance, your pagan ways of managing life independently. What "man's way" are you clinging to that prevents God's way from manifesting? Perhaps it's self-protection, self-promotion, or self-medication. The throne of your Father David isn't a physical seat—it's the heart posture that says, "Not my government, but Yours." Today, identify one area where you've been ruling yourself. Abdicate that throne. The increase of His government in your life has no end.
