The Government of Light
Reading: Genesis 1:1-5; John 1:1-14
"Let there be light" wasn't just about physical illumination—it was the establishment of a new government over darkness. When God spoke, He was giving permission for light to penetrate and rule where darkness had reigned. Similarly, when Mary said, "Let it be to me according to your word," a burst of light occurred in her womb. Every area of your life currently governed by darkness—fear, addiction, depression, dysfunction—can only change through a "let it be" moment. You must give God permission to establish His government where other powers have ruled. This isn't passive resignation; it's active surrender. Identify one area today where darkness has governed too long. Speak your agreement with heaven: "Let Your light, Your order, Your government be established here." The manifestation begins with permission.
