Chronos Versus Kairos
Reading: Ecclesiastes 3:1-11; Acts 1:6-8

We live in chronological time but must operate by spiritual time. The world rushes you from moment to moment, holiday to holiday, crisis to crisis—always moving, never still. But God operates in appointed times and seasons (kairos moments) that require spiritual awareness to recognize. The disciples asked Jesus about chronological timing: "When will you restore the kingdom?" Jesus redirected them to kairos: "It's not for you to know times or seasons." Stop allowing your calendar to dictate your spiritual sensitivity. The birth of Christ wasn't just a date on a calendar; it was an eternal invasion into time. Today, resist the tyranny of chronological thinking. Ask God, "What are you doing in this season?" Stillness isn't laziness—it's the posture that perceives what heaven is releasing now.
