The Priestly Function
Reading: 2 Chronicles 5:11-14

Religious protocol without consecration produces nothing. The temple was built, the ark was carried, sacrifices were made—yet God's glory didn't manifest until the priests sanctified themselves and positioned themselves at the altar in unity. Authority doesn't come from titles, positions, or how loud you pray. It comes from the priestly function of consecration and worship. The priests stopped caring about their divisions and focused on purity and praise. Only then did God's presence fill the house so powerfully they couldn't continue playing. Notice this: they practiced their instruments long before that moment. David wasn't chosen for the palace because he killed giants, but because he had practiced praise in obscurity. Your Tuesday afternoon praise matters. Your worship in the car matters. You're not just feeling good—you're preparing the atmosphere for God's government.
